I have a pretty full calendar this week.  It is filled with a variety of activity, from job fairs to volunteer work at a college campus to webinars to blogging and looking for scholarships for my son.  I always feel happier and more productive when I have places to go to and action items to take care of.  It keeps me focused on how lucky I am to have this time to do so many different things instead of sitting in an office all day doing work that I am not liking.

I was watching TV last night about real lucky people, people that won the lottery.  They won a LOT of money!  Donald Trump came to speak and advise each one.  First he asked  them of their plans for the money.  One couple wanted to buy a vacation home – a very, very nice vacation home but they were not quite ready to spend the money.  Another person wanted to start a business and was advised on how much that business was going to cost just to start it.  Another couple were altruistic and wanted to help others!  What a great couple!  The reason I bring this up is because it was interesting to hear what each one had to say  since winning the money.  I always thought having that much money would be a great relief not to worry about paying the rent or the mortgage, you would not have to go to work for someone else – unless you wanted to, you could give money to others…and yet here these people were not sure about what to do next.  I would love to have that problem.

What would you do if you won the lottery?  It is always fun to dream about winning the lottery!

One Response to Winning

Thanks for visiting my blog and taking the time to comment. Limiting beliefs about money happens at every income level. Winning a large sum of money doesn’t change the mindset. Those who believe they’re not worthy, unless they identify their limiting beliefs and take action to change them, will, often times, squander the money and end back in their comfort zone … broke.
