Sometimes we make choices in life based on what we feel is the right direction. And if that path starts curving to the left we may question if we made the right decision. It shakes your confidence and makes you wonder if you should be walking on a different path.
My son and I are in transitions and the path is weaving back and forth, making it most difficult for both of us to trust the process. I’m trying to not be a nagging mother and tell him what to do, I’m asking him what he thinks he should do. He is the one to decide his next step and at the same time he needs to know that staying the course can prove to be the right way.
Facing your fears and meeting the challenges can prove to be opportunities. It’s taking the time to look at all your options, weighing the pros and cons and knowing there is no right or wrong turn. It is your life however you chose and hopefully it makes you happy and makes you feel confident. At this particular place and time it’s my son’s path and I need to honor that and as any good parent, I will worry about him no matter which direction he chooses. As for me I have been traveling much longer and I have to see that what is important is to enjoy the journey and all that comes with it and believe things will work out the way they are suppose to.
