How was your holiday?

How was your Thanksgiving holiday? I had a wonderful time with my son, sisters, brother and his family.  Everyone gathered at my house and cooked together and ate together.  We went for walks, we talked and we watched a couple of movies.  It felt so good to have so much love and family gathered together.

Now it is back to the daily grind for everyone has gone back to their homes and their lives. I miss the love the laughter having people to talk to and walk with.  I enjoyed watching my son enjoy his time with his cousins.

I do not know when our next family gathering will be.  At Christmas time everyone usually just spends it with their own immediate family.  So I cherish the time I did have with them.

Is your family close and do they live close by?  Do you appreciate the time you get to spend with them?  Thanks for reading and I loved to hear about your family traditions.
